- Joint Master’s Programme with the University of Bordeaux
The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the University of Bordeaux (UBx) have partnered to offer a Joint Degree, incorporating both the Official Master’s in Innovative Enology and the Sciencies de la Vigne et du Vin de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Agronomiques de Bordeaux Aquitaine Master’s, giving students studying UPV/EHU’s Official Master’s in Innovative Enology the opportunity to obtain a Master’s qualification from both UPV/EHU and UBx.
This international project also allows students to progress to the Joint Doctoral Thesis.
The Joint Degree is aimed at those specialising in Viticulture or Viticulture Business Management, depending on the study plan followed:
– Graduates in Enology (Viticulture/Enology). Access to “Master de la Vigne et du Vin (Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin, ISVV)” qualification.
– Graduates in ADE/MK/FS/ADED/FAP* (Viticulture Business Management). Access to “Master of Science Vineyard and Winery Management (Bordeaux Sciences Agro, BSA)” qualification.
ADE: Business Management & Administration
FS: Finance & Insurance
ADED: Degree In Business Management & Administration and Degree In Law
FAP: Taxation & Public Administration
Students on UPV/EHU’s Official Master’s in Innovative Enology must carry out their Master’s thesis based on a Stage de professionnalisation equalling 30 ECTS credits (between January and June) at a winery or research centre in Bordeaux.
Students will only pay UPV/EHU enrolment fees and will be exempt from paying UBx fees (ISVV – Institut de la Science de la Vigne et du Vin or Bordeaux Sciences Agro, depending on the specialism followed).
