One of the defining strengths of the Innovative Enology Master is its commitment to hands-on learning, closely connected to the realities of today’s wine industry and to the professionals driving its future.
As part of this approach, students recently visited the new LEV2050 facilities, a company specialising in applied industrial microbiology and the development of biotechnological solutions. Guided by David García, they explored the company’s facilities and discovered first-hand the latest microbiological innovations helping to make viticulture and winemaking more efficient, sustainable and innovative.
The visit forms part of a programme that combines academic excellence with continuous interaction with wineries, companies, research centres and leading professionals. Thanks to the Master’s long-established reputation and the prestige of its academic partners, students benefit from direct access to internationally recognised experts who are shaping the future of oenology through research, innovation and technological development.
The Innovative Enology Master is jointly delivered by the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), the University of the Basque Country (EHU) and the Université de Bordeaux, three internationally recognised universities. Students also have the opportunity to earn a double international degree, providing a significant advantage for careers in the increasingly global wine industry.
Technical visits, internships in wineries and companies, and close collaboration with leading organisations enable students to complement their academic knowledge with real-world experience, gain insight into the latest scientific and technological developments, and build valuable professional networks from the very beginning of their studies.
