METHODOLOGY

The teaching methodology used in this Master’s Degree includes:

  • Lectures on the course content given by experts, combined with practical demonstrations in vineyards, wineries and analysis laboratories, with real and modified wines in order to fully understand the theoretical concepts discussed in class
  • Case studies
  • Individual and group exercises

The Compulsory External Placements and the End of Master’s Thesis will be carried out with constant communication between the student, the winery instructor and the university tutor, under the coordination of the Academic Committee.

ASSESSMENT

Students will be continuously assessed in each subject, as well as during the compulsory external placements and the End of Master’s Thesis. Several assessment methods are used:

  • Various kinds of written exams (short questions, multiple choice tests, etc.)
  • Written and/or oral presentation of student’s work
  • Practical exercises inside and outside the classroom
  • Active participation in class
