The teaching methodology used in this Master’s Degree includes:


Lectures on the course content given by experts, combined with practical demonstration in vineyards, wineries and analysis laboratories, both with actual and modified wines in order to fully understand the theoretical concepts discussed in class

Case studies

Individual and group exercises


The Mandatory External Internships and the End of Master’s Project will be carried out with constant communication between the student, the winery instructor and the University tutor, under the coordination of the Academic Committee.


Students will be continuously assessed in each subject, as well as during the mandatory external internships and the End of Master’s Project. Several assessment methods are used:


Various kinds of written exams (short questions, multiple choice, etc.)

Written and/or oral presentation of student’s work

In-class practical exercises, as well as outside the classroom.

Active participation in class
